GENERAL INFORMATION |

Among the prestigious hotels established in Bora Bora, the Maitai Polynesia is located in a most ideal spot on the exceptional headland of Matira Point.
Sitting across from the islet of "Motu Piti Aau", most of the rooms and bungalows provide great views of the crystal clear lagoon where hues of green, aqua and blue mingle.
The hotel, entirely built in Tahitian style, opened in June 1998 and there are four room categories offered in this haven of serenity.
Nine new over water bungalows were recently added in an extension along with 20 air-conditioned rooms. Each room offers a dazzling view of the surroundings and overlooks the colorful lagoon.
The beach was widened and a restaurant, called the Tama'a Matai, built right on the sand completed the new extension.
The Maitai Polynesia is the only "intermediate" category hotel in Bora Bora offering full service at an incredible value for money.

Restaurants & Bar
The two restaurants, along with the Maitai Polynesia bar, will welcome you throughout the day. They offer fine food and cocktails in a relaxed ambiance. The menus and buffets -elaborated by our chef- are a bridge between Polynesian and traditional cuisines. You will find the best "nectar" to go with your food in our large wine selection.
Manui Bar
The Manuia Bar (" Cheers ! " in Tahitian) decorated with an exotic touch and local furniture is a great spot to meet with your friends to enjoy cool cocktails in a tropical atmosphere. Pareo demonstration, local preparation of raw fish and Tahitian music are all part of the many entertainments proposed at the Manuia Bar.
Haere Mai Restaurant
The Haere Mai restaurant will invite you to a delicious breakfast buffet in the morning hours. Here are some of the proposed selections: cereals, pastries, fresh fruits, deli specialties, cheese, fruit juice, and yoghurts …
The restaurant, surrounded by plants and decorated with local materials, is the perfect place to savour delicious meals. The full menu of varied dishes awaits your order, while the wine card carefully selected will take you to the heart of the most famous vineyards.
The seafood buffet held on Wednesday nights is a must. You will of course enjoy seafood and island dishes while a great tamure show and fire dancing will entertain you.
Tama'a Maitai Restaurant
The unique location on the sandy beach of the Tama'a Maitai, the warm and friendly atmosphere and the non-stop service makes this restaurant the most appreciated one by our guests. The menu proposes a wide range of Polynesian and European dishes at all times of the day. You are invited to come in for a snack, to savour local dishes to enjoy a cool drink while admiring the beautiful lagoon of Bora Bora.

The team in charge of activities will be pleased to introduce you to the activities available on the Island. Located in one of the greatest spots, the Maitai Polynesia is the only hotel on the island of Bora Bora to propose air-conditioned rooms.

Garden View Room
Built in a traditional way, the hotel offers 28 air-conditioned rooms (mountain side) while located in the heart of the hotel. Each room surrounded by tropical vegetation looks upon the coconut and palm trees garden. The exotic interior decoration done with good taste by the owners will make you feel welcome.
The interior design and layout is similar in the air-conditioned Ocean view rooms.
Ocean View Room
Unique on the island of Bora Bora, the Maitai Polynesia proposes 20 spacious air-conditioned rooms all decorated in a Tahitian style. Located on the mountain side, each unit has a spectacular view of the nearby islets and the islands of Raiatea & Tahaa.
The rooms are well equipped for your comfort with: television, TV with free in-house movie channel, safety box, telephone, mini-bar, hair-dryer, hair & body lotions, and balcony.
Beach Bungalows
Our bungalows built in a traditional way located a few steps from the lagoon have a great view of the crystal clear water. They are equipped for your comfort with the following: television, TV with free in-house movie channel, safety box, telephone, mini-bar, hair dryer, hair and body lotions, ceiling fan and deck.
Overwater Bungalows
The overwater bungalows have contributed to the renown of hotels in Bora Bora. The Maitai Polynesia proposes bungalows (30m˛ + deck 8m˛) nicely decorated with good taste. The deck and its outdoor shower impel you to have a dive into the lagoon. In a corner of the bungalow, the glass bottom table will invite you to watch the colourful fish swim around.

How to get to the hotel? |
|
The Maitai Polynesia is a moredately-priced resort located across from the islet of Motu Piti Aau on the main island of Bora Bora, French Polynesia.
Fly to Papeete, the Tahitian capital, and catch a connecting flight to Bora Bora (a 45-minute flight). A taxi boat from the Airport to the Maitai Polynesia takes approximately 30 minutes (additional fees apply). If you prefer, there is a free public boat shuttle from the Airport to Vaitape.

Payment Requirements
For your convenience, Internet Travel Group offers secure online payments with the following credit cards: Visa, Mastercard and American Express. Please note that, should you prefer, you are able to supply your credit card information by fax. We are unable to accept your reservation request without credit card details, though you will only be billed once your booking has been confirmed, the credit card information verified and our confirmation voucher sent to you by email.
For all reservations
-The full amount will be charged at the moment of confirmation.
Cancellation Policy
-If cancellation is received within 4 days or more prior to arrival, then a 20% of the full amount will be lost.
-If a cancellation is received within 3 days or less prior to arrival, then a 1 night fee will apply as a penalty.
-No shows will result on a 1 night fee being charged as a cancellation fee.
-Early check-out will be subject to a cancellation fee equal to 100% of the remaining nights of the reserved stay.
Children Policy
-Children over the age of 12 are considered as adults.
-Children requiring their own room are charged as adults.
Liability
Internet Travel Group acts as intermediary between all hotels, transport operators, tourist attraction companies, and local tourist offices providing the services. Internet Travel Group is therefore not responsible for any loss, injury or damage sustained by the tourists; including those occurring outside of the touring programmes. Additional expenses incurred due to delay, accident, acts of God or political actions / unrest must be borne by the tourists. Programmes and prices, services and conditions are based on those valid at the time of being posted on the site. Price & Payment
Unless otherwise stated, at the time of booking only a deposit is due. The remanining balance is payable on check-in and charged by the hotel direct. hotel-savings.com accepts Visa, Mastercard & American Express.
For security purposes, should your reservation incur a charge in excess of USD 400.00, you must submit a signed credit card authorization form. This will be supplied upon confirmation of the reservation. If you fail to fax across this documentation within 48 hours, we reserve the right to cancel the reservation. Please note that as per our cancellation policy, there may be a fee for this.
Flight Information
If you are to arrive at your hotel after 5pm, please provide Hotelrentalgroup with your flight information, so that we may be able to advise the hotel of what time they can expect you. Should your flight be delayed, we strongly recommend that you contact the hotel directly to inform them of this.
Period of Stay / Rate Calculation
All stays are calculated and sold "per night". We can only guarantee a room until noon (12pm). Late check-outs can be requested at the moment of reservation in the additional comments box, but may come at an additional fee (usually 50% of the nightly rate).
Cancellation Policies & Charges
Cancellations must be received in writing by e-mail, with as much notice as possible. Penalty fees may apply. Please check the terms & conditions, as these policies vary from hotel to hotel.
Cancellation Charges On All Reservations
-On all confirmed reservations, 20% of the total amount will be lost.
-Further cancellation charges may apply depending on the hotel.

No Shows
No Shows will result in a 100% penalty fee.
Reservation & Confirmation
All reservations made on the web sites operated by hotel-savings.com will receive a temporary confirmation number. This temporary number does not mean that the hotel room is available and is only for administrative purposes. Your final confirmation will be sent to you on your official confirmation voucher within 24 hours, unless, due to unforeseen circumstances, the hotel does not get back to us within this time frame. hotel-savings.com is not responsible for any such delays.
Early departures
In addition to the standard cancellation policy, we would like to stress the point that the hotels are very strict regarding changes to the length of clients’ stays. Therefore we would like to inform you that clients departing before their booked check out date will be charged for the remaining nights and, no being made for unused nights.
Check In & Check Out Policy
Your room will be made available to you from 14h00 (unless stated otherwise in the terms & conditions of the hotel). Should you require a guaranteed early check in, the room must be booked and paid for in full for the day preceeding your stay.
Check out time is 12:00 hrs. For a guaranteed late check-out, clients should book for an additional night, charged at 100%.

All special offers, packages and discounts over our standard rates are offered subject to availability. hotel-savings.com cannot accept any responsibility in the unlikely event that these are temporarily unavailable.

In order to secure a room, it is mandatory to have a credit card.

All reservations made by clients are subject to our terms and conditions. No other terms, conditions and warranties, expressed or implied by law, custom and course of dealing shall form part of any contract between hotel-savings.com and our clients except for those terms imposed by law where application is mandatory.
The client acknowledges that in making a reservation with hotel-savings.com they do so only on the basis of the material contained in the hotel-savings.com Web Site or relevant advertising medium. All other statements or representations made by hotel-savings.com, its employees, agents or sub-contractors are of no effect unless confirmed in writing by hotel-savings.com to the client.
hotel-savings.com sources hotels from various hotel companies in the countries in which it operates. The condition of the stay will be subject to the law of the country in which it is supplied to you. You will be subject to its terms and conditions and local law.
hotel-savings.com reserves the right to pass on to the client any government increase in local VAT or other taxes that may be introduced after a reservation is made. Any additional charges payable on arrival are subject to local VAT at the prevailing rate in that country.
The liability of hotel-savings.com to the client for any loss, problem, damage or cancellation, whether arising out of negligence, breach of contract, error or any other cause shall not exceed the invoiced total value of the confirmation voucher supplied by hotel-savings.com.
